The Experience
Edna Valley, this coastal wine region stretches from San Luis Obispo down to Arroyo Grande and up to Avila Beach. Most of the vineyards you’ll find are here are just five miles from the beach. So you can easily slide from lounging on the beach to wine tasting in wine country in the afternoon.
There are approximately 30 wineries that you can visit. The majority of these wineries are small, family-owned boutique wineries that pride crafting high-quality wine. You’ll find that this region is known for their crisp Chardonnays and other white wines and light red wines.

Autry Cellars

Stop by their casual boutique winery on your way through the beautiful Central California Coastal region and sample their amazing collection. Home to the Edna Valley and Paso Robles luscious grapes, they pick only the finest to produce their outstanding wines, from bold reds to vibrant whites. Baileyana, Tangent, True Myth

Catherine Niven was one of the first female winemakers in California. Baileyana is named for the place she met her husband Jack, and features cool-climate Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

Center of Effort is a crown jewel of this trending wine region, famed for its Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Claiborne and Churchill Winery

Claiborne & Churchill is a small, family-owned and operated winery, founded in 1983 and located in the heart of the Edna Valley, just outside San Luis Obispo, California. Inspired by the wines of Alsace, they specialize in premium dry wines made from Riesling, Gewürztraminer, and Pinot Gris grapes, as well as handcrafted Pinot Noirs and Syrahs from several vineyards here in the Edna Valley. They also produce small lots of other wines, including a Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Dry Rosé, and a Port-style wine.
